James van Riemsdyk Scores Twice, Bruins Edge Predators.

The Boston Bruins defeated the Nashville Predators 3-2 on Saturday, October 14, 2023 at TD Garden. For the Bruins, James van Riemsdyk notched two goals, one of which came in overtime on a power play.

Colton Sissons’ goal for the Predators in the opening frame gave them the advantage. Later in the period, van Riemsdyk’s goal for the Bruins on the penalty play leveled the score. Up to van Riemsdyk’s game-winning goal in the third period, the score was tied.

 

To win, Jeremy Swayman, a goalie for the Bruins, made 25 saves. Juuse Saros, the goalie for the Predators, lost after making 28 saves.

With the victory, the Bruins raised their record to 2-0-0 while the Predators dropped to 0-1-1.
